Just a brief message to say a special 'thankyou' to you for all your time and patience in assisting me with my recent purchase of a 'Hobie Outback'.
My 'maiden voyage, (as you know), was. on a very blustery Anderson's Inlet, which as it turned out, was just the ideal scenerio to give the 'Outback' a thorough test in very trying conditions, which, I'm happy to say, it came through with 'flying colours'!
Your advice on fitting the larger rudder and the 'Turbo-Fins' really worked a treat, and made my 'trip' very enjoyable. Now for the fun bit of 'pimping my yak'.....LOL.
Even though I still have a boat at home, and have mucked about in assorted boats over many years, as a kid, I have always wanted a 'yak' of my own, and years down the track, I've finally got one!.....Reckon this will go very well on the Wimmera River 'back home' chasing 'reddies' and 'yella's'.
I would also like to thank James, (at the shop), for his friendly and attentive service, and also to be able to tap into his vast knowledge and experience of kayaking.
Once again, many thanks to you and the team at 'Rod Bendings' for providing me with such an excellent product.
