Inverloch Fishing Highlights 15th October 2012

Schools of salmon are following the dirty water back into the Inlet. Spinning metal lures at the entrance is producing fish to 1.5 kg. Trevally in the main channel at Mahers Landing taking white-bait and pilchard fillets.

Whiting are being taken at Flatrocks with some good sized trevally. Continual fresh water flowing down the Tarwin River has flushed the Estuary Perch out into the Inlet and it has been tough to locate them.

No signs of snapper in the inlet yet.

Salmon on the surf beaches to 1 kg taking blue-bait, squid strips and pilchards.

Looking forward to some warmer, more consistant weather.
