John Hobie (Revolution 13) and Judith (Hobie Outback) were fishing this afternoon from their kayaks in Anderson Inlet. They launched from the beach at the end of Pimble Avenue. They fished the weedbeds with pipi. After catching and releaseing a few small flathead, Judith landed this 53cm Flathead on pipi. Although, the shop is only 800 metres away, John was surprised we didn't hear the shreiks of excitement when Judith landed the fish. It was only Judith's fourth kayak fishing adventure...well done and enjoy your fresh fish dinner.
