A large school of salmon have moved into Anderson Inlet. Land-based anglers fishing off Pensioners Point are landing fish to 2 kg on both lure and baits.
With the continual changing of the sand bars within the Inlet, land-based bait anglers can use berley on the out going tide to attract the schools within casting distance closer to shore.
Boaters and kayakers can get to the schools of salmon in the middle channel. Stay off the school and cast around the edges, the salmon are aggressively feeding.
Have fun!
