My God, how much stuff do we have to fit in the car when having a weekend away or travelling for our annual holidays?
Too much is what I say! But the kayaks are a must for recreation or fishing and with my family, a Tandem is not an option. (everyone wants their space! Ha!)
Being able to double stack two kayaks on the roof racks is important when you you are towing a caravan.
The Hobie Mirage Passport in both sizes are stackable. As can be seen from the photo, two Passport 10.5 fit neatly on top of each other.
But most importantly, each kayak must be tied down separately. For longer open highway journeys, I would recommend using bow and stern lines.
