Inverloch Fishing Highlights 26th October 2012

A tough week for getting conditons right to fish the right tides. Landbased, good whiting to 35cm around the weedbed to the left of the jetty and in Stevies Gutter. First pinkies reports coming from Stevies Gutter with fish to 35cm suprising a whiting angler. Estuary Perch still scattered around the Inlet with good fish to 40cm being taken at the Snags and also at the mouth to Screw creek. Trevally, mullet and small salmon around  the Inverloch jetty.

Two good reports of Mulloway hook-ups. Firstly at Flatrocks and then following the receeding dirty water line into the Inlet to the left of the Jetty. Both anglers got a good look before one being spooled and the other not being able to set a small jighead into the fish.

Consistant Flathead in the main channel off Mahers Landing using soft baits.

Great fishing conditions Sunday and Monday will produce good fish.

Tarwin River is still flowing out the dirty water from the last rain...I would start to target Estuary Perch from the Melbourne Cup weekend in the lower reaches of the river, the Rockwall to the river mouth.

Best Fishes.
