Finding the fish in the dirty water of Anderson Inlet can be a challenge. But don't let that put you off. Now the rains have stopped again, many of the quality river species are now being targeted sucessfully in the open waters of the Inlet. This fine 40cm Estuary Perch and many others made for an exciting day Sunday fishing the flats out from Mahers Landing. A rising tide, some small diving lures or a quality bait and the dark water are producing Silver Trevally, Mullet and Estuary Perch both land based and from the Hobie.
